RMonitor is the software to be used by teams to monitor the current results and lap times as they occur (live) in the pits.  To utilize RMonitor, you will need your own laptop and download the software by clicking the link below.  Once you have done that, come see the Race Director for further instructions.  If you do not have a laptop, you can view the live lap times from the monitor at the pit office as long as we have the man power to commit to keeping it updated.

You will be required to be in compliance with DCS Mini Stock Rules.  The only local driver that will be an exception to this is Jason Gotz, who is a current Outlaw Compact member and has been racing with them this year.

You do have the choice of running either a DCS compliant tire or the Goodyear Short Track Special that the Outlaw Compacts run in either the 13" or 15" tire.

All local drivers will receive 74 points for showing up.

PRA would like to thank the drivers that participated in the Cascade Community Credit Union Lucky Rides on Saturday.  It was the first time our sponsor was there for this event and we appreciate you folks taking the time to do this for our fans.  A special thank you to those mini stock drivers that had to run their main event immediately following the lucky rides.

We took note of which cars were there to give lucky rides and to show our appreciation, PRA will comp these drivers their entry fee at their next race.

Once again, thank you for making our young fans night for them and showing our sponsor we appreciate them as well.

Unfortunately, we were not able to score using the transponders on 5/8/2010.  We were using a new laptop and did not have the correct cable to connect to the decoder.  We made two trips to buy four cables, but none of them were compatible.  Thank you for understanding.

PRA Drivers:
The Board of Directors of Pacific Racing Association
have voted to give your spouse an $8 general admission
grandstand season pass for 2010.

If your spouse would like a general admission season pass
to the grandstand, please let Jayn Livermore know.  You can contact her by calling 541-672-1004.  You must be a PRA
member and a competing driver to take advantage of this
offer.  This pass is not transferable, so please stay
within the boundary of the offer.

There are twenty races scheduled this season.  Six are
special event races with a higher admission gate price.
On those six races, the pass will give your spouse an $8
credit.  Example:  The Boat Race general admission is
$12.  Spouses pay $4.

Please don't tell us you are racing that night and your
spouse should get in free.  Please remember the spirit
in which the board is promoting this offer.

You can pick up the passes at any Test N Tune event,
this month, or at any board meeting held every Tues.
evening at Clint Newell Motors in Roseburg.  Please
don't wait until the first race and try to find Jayn.
The passes will not be at the front gate.  All out-of-the-area
folks can call me and I will mail them to you.  Please
try and double up with racing buddies on names to
save us postage.  Thank you.

This is an old PRA tradition and the board is pleased
to be able to offer it again.

During the board meeting on March 23rd, the board decided to keep the rulebook as printed.  There will be no positive camber rule for the left front of Street Stocks.  Also, Late Model drivers will need to continue to monitor the race control frequency during all race conditions.

There will be a "Tire Sale Day" on March 20th from 9am til Noon.  It will be located at BC Auto Parts at 988 NE Stephens St in Roseburg, OR.  At that time, the drivers may purchase tires for the 2010 season.  This is to allow drivers the opportunity to mount their tires and get their cars set up prior to the test and tunes.  We will also be distributing printed rulebooks and membership cards to all members.

BC Auto Parts will be open for all of your parts and material needs.  If you would like to know if they will be able to provide you with certain parts, oil, fluids, etc please contact Greg at (541) 672-2633.
