Rules for Eve of Destruction

ALL RULES ARE SUBJECT TO TECH DISCRETION

VEHICLES

 1) Must be a min. of 108" wheel base.  Must be full framed with (1 ton) chassis or less.  Dually or motorhome is ok.

2) Roll cage is not required.

3) Doors must be chained or welded shut.

4) Vehicles without a roll cage shall have a door protection subject to tech approval. (I.e. grader blade welded the length on the outside of  door.)

5) Seat belts and shoulder straps are required for all drivers and passengers.

6) Window nets are required and must be able to open easily.

7) A front windshield or mesh screen with bracing is required, must pass tech.

8) Front bumper needs to be angled back from frame out, to deflect. No 90 degree can openers.

9) Front and rear bumpers, the maximum height of 16” to bottom of bumper to ground.

SAFETY

1)       Driver must wear long sleeve shirts and long pants. Driver suits are highly recommended.

2)       Tech approved racing helmets are required for the drivers and passengers.

3)       Close toed and heel shoes are mandatory.

4)       All vehicles must have red light on top of the vehicle. This light is for your safety. Turn it on to let drivers know your out of the race. Flash this light to let track crew know your hurt and need attention.

Towed Vehicle

1)       Must be a foreign compact.

2)       All glass and lights must be removed. NO TRASH.

3)       Front tires can be removed, but front of car must be off the ground.

4)       Fuel tank must be removed or have a 6” hole cut in bottom.

5)       All oil and transmission fluid must be drained.

VEHICLE ATTACHMENT

1)       Vehicle must be lashed up tight to the tow vehicle.

2)       Front of the compact must be hooked to rear of the vehicle.

3)       Chain or Cable is acceptable, NO rope or iron.

4)      Must be attached to lower control arms and or axles.
